What else can be a better option on a Sunday than spending few bucks to learn some valuable life-saving fundays.
I know this sentence is a little desiish…but just wanted to transfer a feel-good light-hearted vibe…and that’s exactly what Dear Zindagi is all about :)
It's a story with which probably everyone can relate to and learn from…a perfect amalgam of Bollywood with our Sillyhoods.
By now, all know k SRK is portraying the character of Alia Bhatt’s therapist. And I feel only those in-session scenes are worth watching…as the rest of the movie is just supporting the reason why she needs to decipher her emotions.
The acting standard…it’s a no-brainer…both performed great…but at times…Shahrukh appeared to be too driven by his character…I just felt some imbalance of the energies…but guess that’s innate to the story…how can a doctor-patient be at equilibrium? You decide!
There is no take-away for the styling part…as I am not much fan of indie-bohemian diffusion--Alia’s character apparently adores. SRK was casual…laid back…okay! I think…their airy styles might had been more appealing if this was released during hot-sunny-summers.
The songs play the role of background music…but just with words. They just come and the next moment are gone with the wind. I won’t be downloading any!
The final take-away is…go and watch this movie…so we all can be on the same page…as I already learned the ‘kursi funda’, ‘eversest story’, ‘shriveling reasons’, 'sea kbaddi'…and many more. I won’t be explaining any of these, cuz 1) spoiler alert…; 2) you have to understand it in context with the given situation…and more importantly explained in iconic SRK style.
So, Until next time,
Try to love Zindagi.
