Who Saw it Coming??? THREE Fast Facts on #WomenPower

Being witty is a rarity for me…but, this time, thanks to some fast facts, my sarcasm has been precipitating for quite some time, which means only one thing, I got to pen them!

With no further delay…here comes my ‘masoomana’ (innocent) take on THREE insanely sane news stories. Of course all are sourced from our super authentic mainstream media.

* Me = Genius…I know :)

So, let’s get the wheels rolling…

Okay guys…no more relying on the fairies and their magical delivery baskets…, as she did it...and all LIVE!

Seriously, April the Giraffe, after making the world go crazy on her prolonged pregnancy, finally gave birth to a baby boy, and we all saw his pop-drop scene…yes, including our little munchkins.

* Truth be told, for us, the gender-biased Asians & Desis, since it’s a boy…hence, all is worth the effort…lol ;)

A media mogul, during his Vatican City vacation, where he also graciously met Pope Francis, got the news of being kicked out of his job. Why? Confirmation of several sexual harassment charges and accusations against him! What?

Just recently, the famous Bill O’ Rilley, after enjoying a lofty career spanning over twenty-years at the Fox News, gotten dragged to the maximum lows…by a woman!

* Dora’s mandatory ‘victory’ dance: “we did it…Wee DID it!”

It might sound ironic, but I am actually thankful to Mr. Rilley for adding his celebratory weightage to this sensitive issue. I was literally glad to see the mainstream media, all in synced, battling off this centuries’ old problem: Sexual Harassment at Workplace.

While stating an unfortunate fact that, it still exists…even in the New York City, I got exposed to a reality. Stigmatizing (only) the Second and Third World Countries with the taboo of sexual harassment and gender bias, is wrong, as they still exist in our very own backyards!

* Hello to the Superpowers...!

President Trump called a lady and said, ‘congratulations’. Why? Because she just broke the world record for not returning back to her home(land). Considering DP’s eccentricity, its hard to picture 'him'…congratulating a FEMALE!

* But, hey, never say 'never'!

Anyway…the fact is, two days back, Mr. Trump called astronaut Peggy Whitson, (at her space station), and applauded her for setting the new world record for “Most Days in Space”. To top it all, she willfully snatched this title back from none other, but the Russians.

* (cough) Can anyone else feel this friction?

Learning to be Selfless from the Wave & the Shore...

Selfless love can easily be understood by observing the waves that come, break into the shoreline…and just vanish.

While looking far into the horizon, one can spot the mighty Wave approaching speedily with all its vigor and energy towards us. But the real action happens when it meets the Shore. As soon as it strikes into the sand…all its passion, strength, and roughness gets soaked into the sparkling, tiny, lifeless, sedentary granules of the raw sand. The Wave shares all its richness, and leaves all its treasures, even its own identity, with the trustworthy Shore…and calmly go back to return later!

On the other hand, this departure of the Wave is not a parting sign for the Shore. Instead, it shows their strong mutual understanding. Shoreline knows, no matter how far the Wave would dive…it would, for sure, soon hurry back to embrace its still-standing and awaiting sand.

Furthermore, whenever a Wave approaches its longing Shore…neither of them judge each other, nor do they ever complain. Their nonverbal communication, trust, honesty, and mutual respect is simply a life-lesson that we all need to learn! No matter how dirty and messy either of them are, they just quickly embrace one another to wipe-off all their signs of destruction, while converging all their focus on healing their emptiness. Just having a pure fulfilling moment, is their goal…!

Whereas conceding as an act of gratitude, sedentary Shore always joins the Wave on its return ride. The truth is…Shore always wants to be with the Wave…no matter how far it desires to travel. So without being a burden and showcasing its own identity, Shore quietly lets some of its sand particles to just freely float away with the Wave, for forever…

No matter how small it may be, one can always find a part of Shore in its Wave. Whereas, the Wave…combating with all the forces of our Mother Nature…always finds rest and peace in the wide spread, selfless embrace of its Shore.

So, until next time;
Let's all try to be (little) selfless...
